HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO INSTALL A KWH METER? In most instances it'll take less than an hour to install a E-MON OR IMS KWH meter. DO I NEED AN ELECTRICIAN TO INSTALL IT? Yes, all EMON and IMS products are designed to be installed by a licensed electrician and the installation needs to be in compliance with all local and national codes. WHAT'S THE BEST METER FOR A "MOTHER IN LAW" APARTMENT OR MY SHOP? The Emon D-MON CLASS 1000 or the IMS mini meter are both perfect for this application. WILL THE CLASS 3000 METER WORK ON A SINGLE PHASE APPLICATION? Yes, just short out the unused CT input. WHY SHOULD I BUY FROM YOU INSTEAD OF MY LOCAL SUPPLIER?
